چکیده
Cement, used for engineering the concrete structures has become most demanded construction material, production of which consumes enormous quantity raw materials and thereby emits approximately 7% greenhouse gas emissions into environment. Determinations are being made to use, as much possible, supplementary cementitious (SCM), like ground granulated blast furnace slags (GGBFS), flyash (FA), metakaolin (MK), silica fume (SF), rice husk ash (RHA), etc., industrial by-products hold pozzolanic properties, capable be a part replacement ordinary portland cement (OPC). The consumption OPC significantly increased all over world due infrastructure facilities on massive scales. Also aged infrastructure, constructed decades before, necessities maintenance repairs further increase demand thus cause higher impact Researches trying experimentations in finding out suitable combinations various proportions potential finer SCMs viz. FA, GGBFS etc. ultrafine SF, MK, RHA investigated along with different types fibres produce fibre reinforced self-compacting use fast track constructions repair works. In this study ternary blended SCC FSCC (fibre SCC), mixes were established ranging from 64% 74%, MK (as SCM), OPC, varying 2.5%, 5%, 7.5% 10%; Fly fine SCM) fixed at 25%, without 1% Alkali resistant (AR) fibre. set target achieve maximum final setting time 10 hours, 1 day compressive strength 25 N/mm2 flexural 2.5 besides meeting characteristics slump flow 550mm-650 mm (SF1), V Funnel 9-25 Seconds (V2 class) facilities.

Investigating properties of fresh and hardened self-compacting concrete made of recycled aggregates
Self-compacting concrete is a new high performance concrete with high ductility and segregation resistance. In recent years, construction material manufacturers have focused their attention on lightweight concrete and have strived to use lightweight concrete, if possible, in load-bearing parts of buildings. Concrete with both self-compacting and lightweight properties is favourable in this cont...
متن کاملhybrid fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete: hardened properties
in most cases, fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete (frscc) contains only one type of fiber. the use of two or more types of fibers in a suitable combination may potentially not only improve the overal properties of self-compacting concrete, but may also result in performance synergie. the combining of fibers, often called hybridization, is investigated in this paper for a cimentetious mat...
متن کاملFresh and Hardened Properties of Self Compacting Concrete Incorporating Different Binder Materials
Self compacting concrete (SCC) is an innovative development of conventional concrete, which requires high binder content to increase its segregation resistance. This paper presents a comparative study on the use of different materials as binder content in SCC and their effects on the workability and strength properties are checked. Different combinations of Fly ash, Metakaolin and Saw dust ash ...
متن کاملAn Experimental Study on Effect of Waste Tire Rubber on the Fresh and Hardened Behavior of Self-compacting Concrete
The development of environmentally accepted methods of used tire disposal is one of the greatest challenges that waste management experts face today. Use of waste rubber particles as aggregate in self-compacting concrete is a suitable solution for the environmental hazards of waste tires being produced on a large scale. The aim of this work is to investigate the influence of the size of waste r...
متن کاملApplications and Properties of Fibre Reinforced Concrete
In conventional concrete, micro-cracks develop before structure is loaded because of drying shrinkage and other causes of volume change. When the structure is loaded, the micro cracks open up and propagate because of development of such micro-cracks, results in inelastic deformation in concrete. Fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) is cementing concrete reinforced mixture with more or less randomly ...
